Created in response to the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis in May 2020, and the subsequent global resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, the play is a visceral exploration of systemic racism in society, white privilege, and how both affect a group of young people searching for difficult answers to complicated questions.
